すでにクラシックといっても過言では無い名カリプソ・コンピ「London Is The Place For Me」の続編です！今回は50年代?60年代のロンドンの黒人音楽というくくりで、カリプソはもちろん、ナイジェリア移民によるハイライフや、南ア移民によるクウェラあたりまでを収録した、これまでに無いコンピレーションに仕上がっています。相変わらずのクールな装丁、詳細なライナーはさすがオネスト・ジョンズと唸るばかり。内容はもちろん文句なし。50年代モノに特有の粋がりとジャジーなフレイヴァーが渋すぎる全21曲。前作を気に入った方は間違いなく楽しめます。珍しい45s音源中心の選曲ですので、このコンピでしか聴けないトラックも多数ありそう。この夏のマスト・アイテム。必聴！
